I know a few of you work games at fields with airports nearby. We have our state Super Sectional at one such venue - the aptly named Schaumburg Flyers' stadium (Alexian Field) - and I was watching a game and wondered aloud what would happen if a plane lost control. A couple of guys nearby laughed that it would be better than the train wreck they were watching (biased fans). I did a Google search and found this...I think the kid probably figured he balked!

its not working for me, but is that the one where the plane crashes just over the left field fence?

i was just at schaumburg on friday and forgot all about those planes until one came out of nowhere

I was there for a couple games during the last week and the planes cannot be ignored. To answer your question, it is a plane crash just beyond the left field fence. The game was underway and the pitcher had just come set when the PU noticed the plane coming down. It was amazing!
