Interference Question?

Runners on first and second and the pitcher makes a move towards second. The pitcher never throws the ball to second but the infielders and outfields act as if it is an overthrow (yelling to the center fielder) and the runner at second heads towards third only to be thrown out. Is there any verbal interference or any type of interference on this play? Or totally legal?

that would be an out, granted the pitcher made a legal move, which in your sitch he did. The university of Miami actually pulled this play off about 5 years ago in a game. Announcers were stunned and so was the baserunner!!

This play is famous. It's called the Miami play, presumably because it was first seen in use by the University of Miami. It is entirely legal.
