Changing Pitchers

Does a player become the pitcher of record if he throws a warm-up pitch in between innings? Say the short-stop comes out, picks up the ball, gets on the mound and throws a warm-up pitch. Does he now have to pitch to one batter? Also, say it is the 3rd inning the starting pitcher comes out and throws his warm-up pitches, but then, the coach decides that he wants to make a pitching change. Does the pitcher have to pitch to one hitter?

I wasted all my time in school taking physics and Russian. (All wasted apparently!).

With all due respect, in OBR the pitcher need not throw a warm-up pitch to be considered an unannounced substitute. All he must do is take his position on the rubber, and he's the pitcher. Only in Little League do they add the phrase, "and throws one warm-up pitch to the catcher." Rule 3.08(a)(1).

R-E-S-P-E-C-T, find out what it means to me.
