New Crew Cheif
 
Any idea who the new crew cheifs in MLB would be if any of the current crew cheif's retire?

Retiree New Cheif

West - Rapuano

Froemming - Winters

Brinkman - Cousins

Crawford - O'Nora

If you were to go by number of years in the league, the most experience among those not already a crew chief are:

Derryl Cousins - 27 years

Tim Tschida - 20 years

Jim Joyce - 18 years

Then two have 17 years - Bill Hohn and Jerry Layne

Brian O'Nora is not becoming a crew chief....not with only 9 years experience. Good umpire, yes. Crew chief, no. And I don't think Cousins would become a CC since it seems he probably could be if he wanted to, but instead works with Joe every year.

Darling had 18, Reliford had 15 when they were promoted....it's not ALL about seniority, though it helps.
