I am a LL ump, & I have been reading the Federation rule book(good summer reading)It says the offensive team is limited to 3 visits by the coach during a 7 inning game.
In LL & OBR I don't know of such a rule. But last month it seemed like every other pitch the 3rd base coach would call time & talk to B1. Is there anything or rule I could say to help speed the game along? It was not covered during our pre-game meeting. Any thoughts? Happy 4th. |

G:
You're quoting the FED rule on Defensive conferences (3-4-1). In Fed, ONE offensive conference (3-4-2) per inning. Remind coach as soon as that time out is over. "Coach, that was your conference for this inning". If he disregards you, ejection for him and player. Bob |

Nearly all organized ball has a one
offensive conference rule per inning. If coacher insist on another, either restriction or ejection is authorized.

In LL you have an one offensive per inning. When the third base coach asks for time to talk to his batter then when he's done I usually say that's your one for the inning.Make sure he responds so you know he understands. There are also defensive visit restrictions but that another story.
