With malicious contact, do you always eject the person and call him out except when the person causing the malicious contact has scored(in which case you just eject him)? I'm am asking this because today I had a runner at second push the second baseman. I was tempted to eject him but said nothing. I was just curious that if I would have ejected him would have I also needed to call him out?

If it was malicious contact, then, yes, you would have to declare the runner out.

If there was no play happening, then I'd call it unsportsmanlike conduct, or perhaps fighting. either of these is just an ejection (you can warn for unsportsmanlike conduct).
