does anyone know of any umpire clinics taking place in the southeastern pa - philadelphia area?? also, can anyone recommend the best assigners and/or leagues in that area that are worth working?? thanks.

you are most likely in district 12 which is the city of philly. have you taken your piaa exam yet? if so, you should just join a chapter that's best for you geographically. gas is expensive.

i live in montgomery county and i've been working in district 1, abington chap for a few years. working mostly suburban one.

really looking for clinics...

best advice would be to check piaa.org since they normally have one sometime at the beginning of the year.

I work in Phila, but umpire in South Jersey. We have a number of Phila residents in the association (Independent Umpires Association, member, NJSIAA). High school and independent ball, baseball and softball. I think the organization is very well run. Email me if you want more information. [email protected]
