I am having a brain cramp. I know that in FED if a player takes his helmet off the team is issued a warning and the next player doing the same will be ejected. Is the rule the same for college ball?

In FED a runner may not take his helmet off during a LIVE ball.

No such rule in NCAA or OBR.

The only thing that I can find under NCAA rules is that a player may be ejected for refusing to remove an illegal or defective helmet.
