Sounds like too many umpires wanting to be noticed.
A good game is when nobody notices that your there, drawing attention to yourself with theatrics, colorful comments and forceful ejection just shows you are not in control of the game, you are trying to rule it. Umpires are there for one reason to make sure the game is played within the rules. Looks, to me, as if some people need to have a long hard look at there motivation for umpiring.
