JV game last week. One team got 3 singles, a walk, a hitbatsman and a balk all in the same inning and did not score. Anyone have anything else like this?

Can't say I can recall a case like this. But let me see if I can figure a way.

1. 2 singles leaves R1 and R2.
2. 5U leaves R1 and R2, one out. Batter beats the throw to 1B.
3. Walk loads the bases.
4. R3 heads home on a squeeze and is called out for batter interference. R1 and R2 remain, 2 outs.
5. Balk moves runners to R3 and R2.
5. Batter bunts up 3b line and beats out a close play for a single, R3 and R2 remain, bases loaded.
6. Next batter intentionally leans into an 0-1 pitch in the zone, and a strike is called. Umpire keeps him in the box. He strikes out.

Now how did it really happen?

I am pretty sure this was the sequence of events:

1. B1 singled-was safe on a pick off attempt but got up and was cleaning himself off while off the base and was tagged out.

2. B2 singled-was thrown out stealing.

3. B2 walked.

4. B4 singled. R1 to second.

5. Pitcher balked.

6. B5 HBP.

7. B6 grounded out.

Sounds like the D-Rays on offense. Especially the out while dusting himself off..LMAO. They are near the top of the league in hitting and bottom in runs scored.
