In reading the FED rule book, many times they note certain rules with "by state adoption." Can anyone tell me where I can get a listing of what the IHSA has adopted as policies for the state FED games?

I know of no specific place that lists everything. Other then the information that is given out at the rules meetings annually or discussed in the presentation there is no other place to find this information. Maybe if you could give specifics of what you want to know, then someone might help you to answer your questions.

2-33-1: Are there any other suggested speed up rules besides the courtesy runner?

4-2-2: Slaughter rule in place?

4-2-4: What are the other game ending procedures that may have been determined by IHSA?

4-4-1a: What has the IHSA specified as the time frame and/or circumstances before a forfeit is declared for a late arrival of one of the teams?

4-5-1: Are protests permitted by IHSA?

4-2-2: Yes

4-5-1: No

2-33-1: none as far as I know

4-2-2: 10 after 5 (4 1/2 if home team is winning)

4-4-1a: there is no time frame, usually if a school is going to be extremely late they will be in touch with someone at the school they are traveling to, if not you are stuck waiting

4-5-1: No Protests

The answers that you are getting are only part of the equation. You must find out through your association if your state uses any of these rules.

For example, here in CT, there is no speed up, double first base or mercy rule.

All of these issues are discussed at the IHSA Rules Meetings or it is in the handouts when you attend the meetings.

if the IHSA has a website, go there. i know the PIAA has their state bulletins posted on their website.

The IHSA website would be an obvious place to look, unfortunately I was not able to find anything on there, also contacting one of the rules interpreters didn't get me an answer either. So seeing quite a few IHSA officials on here with more experience than I, I thought I would post the question.
