Here's a link from the Pitt Student Newspaper about their weekend series versus Villanova. Craziness during the first 2 games...I would like to know what everyone thinks about the sitch involving the batted ball/hit by pitch in game 1. Also, I don't know the NCAA rules very well, but after you read this, is the ejection of Pitt's HC also an automatic suspension?

And these are D1 umpires? I would assume that whether it was an automatic suspension would be a school or conference issue, but I doubt it would result in a suspension.

I believe bumps in NCAA ball are an automatic 1 game suspension. In fact, if you eject a player/coach for physical contact with an umpire, you must acknowledge the contact and inform him he's gone for the next game too. ie

"that's a bump, you're gone AND your suspended for the next game as well"

Wow, how'd this guy get D1 games? Waffle. Waffle waffle. Was his partner John Kerry?
