What are your favorite shirt colors to wear on the field? I know FED requires the navy only. My top 5 are:
1) Navy 2) Black 3) Powder Blue 4) Red 5) Silver Just saw the new silver shirts and I think they look pretty sharp. Yours? |
Hmmm,
During FED in our area (until playoffs) we can wear Navy, Light (powder or Delta) Blue and Black.
During the summer we add Creme. We do not allow Disco Red at any time. Of course we must match our partner and that goes to "shade" issues as well. Default is Navy. Undershirt must also coordinate with your partner. |

It's all navy around here. Sometimes we break out the red or black, but navy is it. Has anyone else seen the new silver shirts from +POS. As I said, I like the look of them.

The state only allows Navy here for HS games.
For other games, and especially daytime summer games, I like Powder blue or Cream, depending on what my partner has available. Black and silver not real common around here and I don't know anybody with a red shirt. |

Honig's had a limited number of specific sizes in stock. You can order them but it is something like a 12 week wait if they do not have your size. |

May I say that it is FASCINATING beyond description to get the rankings of shirt colors from whomever. Ooo Ooo here are mine: (psych).
But seriously folks, a later poster said something I like to adhere to, and having color options helps. (Actually, this was a Gerry Davis "tip" in his catalog a couple years ago.) I like the 2 or 3 man crew to contrast against the teams playing. I always thought it was goofy to have NAVY BLUE umps on the fiels with 2 NAVY BLUE jerseyed teams. My association now permits all permutations of shirts, restricted by HS rules, and matching requirements (obviously). |
Around here, navy only for baseball, powder only for softball (HS).
For summer ball, most guys have navy, powder and red. I've only seen one guy around here with black or cream, and he's a self-proclaimed "big dog." Don't usually wear navy during the summer unless it's the only shirt my partner has or if it is a night game. |
black is my favorite, then grey, then navy.
Won't see me in red Indiana says we can only wear the navy, however, our contracts state that we are working for the school and not the state. so we feel we can wear whatever, just as long as we match and the school don't care! |
