Hmmm,

chuckfan, make you a deal:

"Don't tell me how to post and I won't read your stuff."

Fair enough?

Its amazing. You would think that for an officials forum, at some point in time, some of us could truly develope a "thick skin", or mabey "thicker skin". This is begining to sound like the bullcrap rhetoric that has developed in this country over the last few years. "We are going to fight for our rights of freedom, but if you should step out of line excerising those rights than mabey we will try to limit the rights you have" ????? Ya know, deal with it, because just as you have all the right in the world to contemplate some of the minutia that goes on in this and other forums, some of us have the right to offer our two cents also. Oh my god, he does'nt say nice things to or about me. Some times, I think that is exactly what a lot of peoples real problem is. There missing the true point.

This whole thing started over a stupid a$$ made up play that was about as sensible in real baseball as the possibility of officiating an amoeba swim meet. Some of us told it like it was, and some of us our still trying to figure out if the batter is or is not out.

These forums have opened up a whole new meaning of learning and expressing one's self like never before. If you can't deal with the faces behind the fingertips that type this stuff, how do you survive as an official?

Most of us come to this forum to learn something.

The only thing anyone has learned recently is how to suffer through the ramblings of blowhards. On BOTH sides of this issue.

Funny thing happened halfway through reading Jice's post. I didn't know whether he was picking on the group telling Tee to shut up, or if he was picking on Tee for telling the group to shut up.

Maybe we're better off if no one tells anyone else to shut up, eh? (Then again, that's me telling the complainers to shut up, isn't it.)

I think I'll shut up now.

Peace.

So how is that much different then some of the ball games we officiate, see your growing already.

I didn't say that the recently-gained knowledge was useless, Jice. I fully expect that expanding my abilities to listen to blowhards will benefit me plenty when I step on the field. :)

If I am being lumped into the blowhard category, so be it.

I've been called worse by better.

Personally, I believe that is is due to one person pontificating the entire thread.
And it appears that person has settled in over here as well.

Oh, well, there goes the neighborhood.
