Ball Lodged in Fence

FED Rules. Bases loaded. The pitch hits in front of the plate, bounces over the catcher's head and lodges in the backstop. Umpire calls dead ball. Am I correct that runners all move up one base from the time of the pitch? Can anyone give me a rule reference?

Interestingly enough, I can't find a reference to a pitch lodging in a fence. A throw by a fielder is in the rules, but not a pitch.

I would award all runners one base in this situation anyway.

By the way, on the same subject, if the ball lodges in the fence but is easily pulled out of the fence by a fielder, are bases still awarded?

5-1-1g is ruling, 8-3-3d is penalty, award all runners one base.

Yes. It's dead before the fielder even reaches it.
