I just discovered this forum, and I really like the information and interaction.

For starters, I am a 12 year veteran umpire (working on year 13) in the Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA) working the Phoenix area. I started out umpiring while I was in the Army, stationed at Ft. Bliss, TX.

I would consider myself a 3rd Generation umpire as my Father, Grandfather, and older brother, all umpired at some level (Little League and ASA)

I also referee HS Football, and some Senior Little League .I also used to umpire the MLB Fantasy camps for the Giants and Brewers (until they started to bring umps in from thier respective cities) :(

I am looking forward to reading and posting in this forum for a very long time.
