I have a son who played in minor league last year. He wants to play in another town this year because his coach was verbally abusing him. (he told him if he dropped the ball again he would make him run around until he vommited), this was not the only comment made. I have heard the same coach is coaching again and have told the poeple in charge of the organization in our small town what happened and I was told if he wants to coach again they are going to let him. My question is we live in a small town there are two other towns close that have minor league ball, is there a distance rule that would say my son has to play in this town. (one town is 15 miles and the other is 20) My childern go to school in the town that is 20 miles away. My son really wants to play but I was told he had to play in our town. Could you please help. Thank you!

I assume this is Litle League?

If so, http://www.eteamz.com has lots of LL "experts" -- you might have better luck getting an answer there
