Getting ready for a youth umpire clinic and want some hard facts for why: you use good gear and wear it properly, pay attention to the BALL, and use good field mechanics.
What types of injuries have you suffered, and were they avoidable? Does anyone have information regarding records kept about injuries sustained by umpires', or studies regarding such? If so, please advise asap! Thanks....... [Edited by Rog on Jan 4th, 2001 at 04:28 PM]
