should this mechanic change?
 

In the aftermath of the World Series, I wonder if there's been any thought in changing the pitch calling mechanic of verbally and visually giving the strike call standing. Blue Jays(not that their baserunning was terrible in other scenarios) had runners picked off twice when they thought a ball 4 was called when there was a "late" strike call. Should the verbal be given while down?
