Triple Play w/ RBI

You think the umps did the "time play" call to one another before this? :)
Triple play RBI

I don't think it's an RBI when there's a DP (or TP) involved.

edit:
(b) The official scorer shall not credit a run batted in
(1) when the batter grounds into a force double play or a
reverse-force double play; or

So more accurate description is triple play with run scored.

Still a time play...

Yes, a time play before a 2 outs with RISP situation. So I would expect no signal. But we would be aware once the sit developed.

I watched a short clip about this play, and they specifically said an RBI was not awarded.

Baseline

They called him out of the baseline, which he was giving up pretty much anyway... But was is the rule about the baseline? It looked to me like he just took a step or maybe 2 small steps... so maybe 2 foot or 3 foot outside the direct path between 2nd and 3rd... i thought there was some judgement built in to the umpire. He avoided the tag but didnt go crazy into the outfield...

The runner's baseline is a straight line from the runner's position at the time the tag attempt starts to the base he is attempting to reach. The direct line between the bases doesn't mean anything and doesn't come into play.

A DP or TP in and of themselves do not necessarily negate an RBI. It was specifically a reverse-force DP (as correctly referenced above) that negated.

On Monday, Brantley of the Indians was credited with an RBI after hitting into a DP.

R1, R3 zero outs.
Lindor running from 1 on the pitch.
Fly out.
Runner from 3 scored.
Lindor doubled up at 1.
Brantley credit with SF DP RBI.
