NFHS Basketball Forum ...
Got this email yesterday:
After a great deal of consideration the NFHS Forum as it exists today will end on August 15, 2011. The forum has been a useful online tool for many people over the years. The NFHS as decided to make the forum a member benefit. This means that most forum users will be able to continue to communicate via the new forum.

That forum is already comatose during the season, and absolutely dead during the off season. I don't see how this decision will help it any. If anything, it might drive more people here if they aren't already. I know I always visited that place as an afterthought after checking here first.
Oh well.

I will not be getting a membership as my state is not a member from the official's side of things. Heck, people went a month without even having any discussions in basketball so who really cares at this point. Football and baseball were the most visited sites and if that is all I will miss than so be it.
