Why didn't I think of this?

Ran into a buddy at the grocery store last night (literally - with my cart) and we started talking about funny things we've heard and said at games. He's reffed for about 10 years including in our local kids rec league.

He said he had one game last season in which a kid had kind of a "goofy" dribble but nothing technically wrong. The opposing coach yelled "He can't do that!". My buddy replied, "Why not, coach?" The coach hesitated a little then said, "It looks bad." My buddy came back with "If looking bad was against the rules, then you wouldn't be allowed to coach."

He said the coach stared at him for a few seconds then started to laugh.
