Had this one on Saturday. Team B sitting at 6 fouls. Contact between A1 and B1. Double whistle. I'm thinking player control, partners primary. He takes it and reports it to the table. I'm not really watching him report, and I'm not expecting to shoot 1-and-1 for the 7th foul since it's player control.
Team B comes down the floor, misses, rebound by team A, and team A comes back down and scores. Whistle. Partner recongizes he reported a push and not PC, and we should have shot 1-and-1. Correctable error. Back down to the other end, team B shoots 1-and-1 with players on the lane. B misses the front end, and we continue playing basketball from that point. Only after the game did we realize what we did wrong. Any experienced 'correctable error' folks want to take a crack at what we kicked?

Play was correctible, by rule. You had a change of possession though, so you don't line up for the FT's that were missed, but take the ball back to the POI. B's ball for a throw-in, same as after a made basket.

Hey, JR, the title of the thread says the question is for the "new folks". When you were a "new" guy, the Dead Sea wasn't even sick yet!
