A significant point of understanding to impress upon any having a hard time understanding a key principle of the traveling rule. An easy-to-understand easy to accept statement, for most.

We've named this the "Flamingo" or "Stork" play. Giving it an illustrative name has helped more officials identify it and give it a no-call when they see it. Might not be real often, but often enough that it used to get called a violation merely because it "looked bad" (and, of course, had the coach and fans yelling "Traveling!!! He lifted his pivot foot!!!").
