BktBallRef Adam wroteI think he thought maybe you were speculating rather than posting what was announced by the NCAA today. I do not think I inclined that or hinted towards that.
Adam BktBallRef wroteI do not think I inclined that or hinted towards that. You inclined nor hinted towards nothing. 😉
BktBallRef Adam wroteYou inclined nor hinted towards nothing. 😉 Exactly. I stated who they were. 😀
Mark T. DeNucci, Sr. OKREF wroteSemifinal #1 Less Jones Karl Hess Terry Wymer Terry Wymer is from Findlay, Ohio, and a friend. MTD, Sr.
OKREF Semifinal #2 Mark Whitehead Randall McCall Doug Sirmons Mike Eades is the alternate for both games tonight. So that leaves John Cahill, Tony Greene, and John Higgins for the final?
BillyMac Mark T. DeNucci, Sr. wroteTerry Wymer is from Findlay, Ohio, and a friend. We won't hold it against him. It's not is fault that you befriended him.
Rich aceholleran wroteNo Higgins, Burr or Kal (Cahill)? Have they fallen out of good graces? Cahill has the final. John Higgins, too. I love watching Cahill work. Wymer, too. If you're referring to Tim Higgins, Ace, he retired in November.

So that leaves John Cahill, Tony Greene, and John Higgins for the final? Which means Mike will be the alternate on Monday night also. Do they still have the game officials leave town immediately after doing their game? That never made much sense to me. OFD

The NCAA shortly after that situation instituted a new stricter policy for their tournament officials.

michblue BadNewsRef wroteThat policy was in place before the Donaghy betting incident. Thanks for the clarification BadNewsRef. I thought it was instituted because of Donaghy. I was not aware of that is was effect before hand.
JRutledge michblue wroteThanks for the clarification BadNewsRef. I thought it was instituted because of Donaghy. I was not aware of that is was effect before hand. The NCAA has been dealing with betting issues long before that case even was known by the public. Remember the NCAA had betting scandals with Northwestern, Arizona St. and Boston College before Donaghy. Peace
