Two years ago. Girls JH game loose ball off a rebound. Two opposing girls jump for the ball. Neither gets it. They return to the floor. Ball goes
out of bounds. I notice something on the floor. I think it is red gum. I go over and it is a bloody female product. Almost picked it up before I realized what it was.

JH game at my home school I was watching had this happen. The official kicked it to the side and told our AD about it. He picked it up during a timeout. It wasn't a Tootsie Roll.

For me it was a held ball between two non jumpers on a jump ball to start OT. The height disparity was rather amusing.

The other was a coach ejection I had last week but that's not unusual, I've just never ejected a coach in basketball before.

My game last night:

9 total fouls in the first half (5-4). 4 in the second half.
Home team is far superior to the visitors, but they didn't try to embarass them at all. 35 point differential in the final score, but it could've easily been 70 if the home team had wanted it that way.
Only one timeout taken during the entire game.
Both coaches remained quiet for the duration.
Total game time was approximately 58 minutes.

I think that qualifies as "strange"
