It was explained to me that someone performing a FC endline throw-in has enough to think about, let alone catching your bounce, so just hand it to them. That worked for me, so I've developed the habit around that.

Besides, the habit works in an extra way to me. If I bounce, it's an additional self-reminder that we're in the backcourt, and if I hand off, it's an extra reminder that we're in the frontcourt. It makes for an additional preparation tool for the next play.
