The_Rookie Snaqwells wroteRegarding #4, Honig's has two different belts, designed to be worn inside the pants, that keeps the shirt in and the pants up. I use the flex belt and it works great. Does the Belt work on keeping the pants from slipping or just the shirt tucked in? Thanks!

Adam 26 Year Gap wroteAs long as your pants are not too big around the waist. To quote my 10 year old daughter, "Duh."
bainsey I tried the belt. It works okay, but you know what works even better? Soccer shorts. Wear soccer shorts under the pants, and tuck the shirt into the shorts.
Mark Padgett You could always have Velcro strips sewn onto your waist. And also onto your pants. 😀
26 Year Gap Snaqwells wroteTo quote my 10 year old daughter, "Duh." It happens. Sizes run too big or small. You lose weight and are too cheap to buy new pants. Ad nauseum.
zm1283 Tucking your shirt into your compression shorts works if all you're wanting to do is keep your shirt tucked in. The flex belt really helps keep your pants up as well, so I always wear it.
johnsonboys03 Minus the pants falling down I had the same issues my rookie season. My mentor told me the same thing....whistle stop clock pause then report... just like a wide reciever you cant run before you catch the ball.

M&M Guy 26 Year Gap wroteWhich can also assist in letting air out of a ball with too much pressure. Don't forget this when you've let out enough air: (Hmm...this would also work in the thread about what to carry in your bag...)
MelbRef I'm a 3rd year, working both some varsity and sub-varsity. Item #3 reminds me of the advice that I regularly received in my rookie year. I'm much more patient and deliberate after a few years of experience. You will too.
Upward ref The_Rookie wroteJust did my first girls J/V scrimmage. Here are my takeaways: 1) Need to gain more court awareness...where to stand and where to look and anticipate plays 2) Remember to Stop the clock not just blow whistle and then signal foul or violation 3) Rushing and more Rushing...many on here said SLOW DOWN 4) My pants kept slipping down when I was running down the court 😉 I would love to here some of your comments and experiences.... same here, glad our trainers told us to dress out for our pracice scrimmage! I've dropped 15 lbs. since oct (when i bought my pants ) and had to continually keep my britches pulled up. another trip to the alterations shop fixed it for now .
