yeah but "we/us" are getting to be less and less.... with what spanish immersion and french immersion and now madarin chinese immersion 😕..... mandarin chinese? i just about fell out.
good thing my tax dollars pay for this... now i can feel responsible too!!! yea!!!

Pray tell, what part of this country speaks "American English"? 😕 It sure as heck ain't the northeast; not mid-Atlantic; TX ain't it, either; you betcha it ain't MN; I've lived in the deep south... not there, either; not SoCal, or any part of NoCal (including OR & WA 😃)...

Sunday I encountered a first base coach who had a weird accent...knew he wasn't from around here, but it wasn't clear...turns out he grew up in Houma, and even though he's been away a long time, he still has a good portion of what my some of my Okie friends call "French Arcadian," especially on certain words...like "hey bleuuu she pullerfut."
