Pulling up the pants

refnrev

So, JV boys game two nights ago. Reach into my closet and grab my shirt, sansabelt pants, jacket and put them in a hanging bag. Grab my other bag and head out the door. 1 minute into the first quarter I realize that these were my newer pants I bought when I weighed 18 pounds more than I do now and they were way too loose!!!! Didn't feel that way until I started to run. Think I spent more time pulling up the pants than watching the players. 😮 Luckily I had an older pair of belted pants in the bag to change into at halftime. Be careful which pair you grab before you go to a game!!!!!!!

Almost the same problem on Friday night. Pants I've worn 4 times since dropping about 20 pounds -- the button was missing. I had no spare and ended up using a safety pin to hold the tab to the pants. Sheesh.

You'd think by now he'd buy new pants. One of his game fees would buy quite a few pair from Honig's.

I thought about him as I was pulling them up... and because I don't know that I am as fast as he is even with his broken bone!:o

... and keeps forgetting to bring new (smaller) pants? 🙂

Sounds like a testimonial for going to the game in uniform to me.

I always grab a Yellow Bartlett. It's a tasty halftime treat.

I'm sure that Mark Padgett will take this in another direction, which, I'm sure, will embarrass his wife, although she's probably use to his antics by now.

You could still forget to put on your pants. Check out Mark T. DeNucci, Sr.'s "pantless" post somewhere on today's Forum.

Nope. He didn't notice until he started running. Unless you run to your games as well....

Mark Padgett

Pants falling down? I don't have this problem. I keep a staple gun in the car. It's also good for helping players keep their jerseys tucked in. 🙂

Be even more careful of which pair you grab during the game! 😮

BillyMac was right.

"People, I just want to say, you know, can we all get along? Can we get along? It’s just not right. It’s not right. It’s not, it’s not going to change anything. Please, we can get along here. We all can get along. I mean, we’re all stuck here for a while. Let’s try to work it out. Let’s try to beat it. Let’s try to beat it. Let’s try to work it out" (Rodney King, 1992)

Actually, Snaqs should read that guy's tagline.

Called a game with Rodney once. He came to the game in uniform.
