John currently assigns the men's officials in the Horizon League

This just doesn't sound correct. A long time personal friend was the Horizon League evaluator at YSU but he died of a heart attack last summer so I do not know who took his place as evaluator at YSU. I will make some phone calls and send some emails to friends in the both the Trumbull Co. Bkb. Off. Assn. and the Mahoning Valley Bkb. Off. Assn. to see who the new evaluator is and try to get to the bottom of this. MTD, Sr.

Jurassic Referee Fwiw, a "Jason Baker" has officiated 18 games in that conference this year, according to bbstate.com. I'd say that it's highly unlikely that he's a high school student.
