My son works in the winter with a wood bat on hitting fundamentals. When spring comes and he goes to the metal it seems like those bloops become shots. Of course it could have something to do with actually working on baseball in the winter. The big answer is the bat companies will go nuts. How can they sell a $400+ wood bat to a 12 year old?
