I've been saying this for years! Now how long will it take before we get the Metal Bat Forever moro... uhh... people here to advocate:
- How dangerous it is for the defense when a wood bat breaks.
- How wood bats are too expensive. ($50 average compared to $200 Average)
- Players would cheat using cork and pine tar.
- Metal bats make the game fair by making it easier to get a hit.
I haven't seen a good bat "war" in a long time on this site!
