It's call a bench and a coaching box. Everyone sits and only the coach can stand if there is a box.

Contrlling is easy, just give a T sign with the hands and they get the message. This after a warning that if they don't sit they will get the technical.

Really - The mentality of basketball is that you must sit and the only “problem” is a coach that likes to wonder all over the court.
