New Official....well kinda

While in college I played football and baseball and in my spare time, when permitted, officiated football at the Varsity, JV, youth and flag levels but gave up officiating after graduation once it was time for "Real Life" to begin. Now at the age of 37 and my life finally settling down a bit I want to get back into officiating. I have already contacted my local Assn. here in Maryland and have the ball rolling in that respect but I would like to speed up the learning curve, at least on the off field side of my education. Can you guys offer any guildance or resourses I should look into to help with my progression. Thanks in advance for your help, John.
