NCAA-W Shot Clock

I have the chance to work some JC women’s BB this Fall. It will be my first experience with a shot clock. I am reading/reviewing the NCAA Rules book, but the only reference I have found to date for the shot clock is 9-11 Art 1.

Am I correct in that the shot clock will reset to 30 secs on ALL defensive violations and fouls?
Does it ever re-set to a time other than 30 sec?

Thanks.

The only defensive violation that the SC is reset is a kicked or punched ball, which you would reset to 15 if it is below 15. Only defensive fouls, personal and technical, cause a SC reset not violations. Hope this helps....

See rule 2-11 for more details on the duties of the shot clock operator, which includes when resets occur and when they do not.

Thanks. I didn't think to look at the shot clock operator part.
